Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a little bit better than Acer Iconia W511, getting a 65.1 score against 59.5. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a extremely thicker and extremely heavier tablet than Acer Iconia W511. Both devices we are comparing here come with Windows operating system, but the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has newer 8.1 Pro version while Acer Iconia W511 has Windows 8 Pro.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a bit more vivid screen than Acer Iconia W511, because it has a better 1080 x 1920 resolution, a bit bigger screen and a greater display density. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features just a little better performance than Acer Iconia W511, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 also has 6 GB more RAM.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Acer Iconia W511, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. Acer Iconia W511 features a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. The Acer Iconia W511 shoots greater videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia W511, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia W511. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Acer Iconia W511, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
