Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a score of 66.7, which is better than the Acer Iconia W511's general score of 59.5. The Samsung Ativ Tab construction has the same thickness than the Acer Iconia W511, but it is just a little lighter. These tablets work with Windows OS (Operating System), but Samsung Ativ Tab has a more recent RT version while Acer Iconia W511 has Windows 8 Pro version, giving you a couple additional features.
Acer Iconia W511 counts with just a bit better display than Samsung Ativ Tab. They have a better count of pixels per inch of display, a display of the same size and exactly the same 768 x 1366 resolution. Samsung Ativ Tab's storage capacity for games and applications is just as good as the Acer Iconia W511 one, they have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage and a SD memory slot that supports up to 64 GB.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a little faster processor than Acer Iconia W511, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and a Dual-Core processing unit, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has an additional graphics processor. Samsung Ativ Tab has a much longer battery lifetime than Acer Iconia W511, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity.
Acer Iconia W511 shoots just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a back camera with a way higher 8 mega-pixels resolution.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia W511, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Iconia W511. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Acer Iconia W511, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
