Comparison review
Asus VivoTab RT has an overall score of 61, which is slightly better than the Acer Iconia W700's global score of 59.6. Even when the Asus VivoTab RT and Acer Iconia W700 were released with only 4 months difference, the Asus VivoTab RT is noticeably lighter and noticeably thinner. Both tablets in this review have Windows OS (operating system), but Asus VivoTab RT has a newer RT version while Acer Iconia W700 has Windows 8 Pro version, providing the user some additional features.
Acer Iconia W700 features just a bit better looking screen than Asus VivoTab RT, because it has a little bit larger screen, a better 1080 x 1920 resolution and a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. Acer Iconia W700 has a bit better performance than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a graphics processing unit and 2 GB more RAM.
Acer Iconia W700 has a much better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Asus VivoTab RT features a very superior camera than Acer Iconia W700, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Asus VivoTab RT also has a camera in the back with a lot better resolution.
Asus VivoTab RT counts with a battery lifetime that is just as good as the battery life in Acer Iconia W700.
In addition to being the best tablet in our comparison, Asus VivoTab RT is also a bargain compared to others.
