Comparison review

Acer Iconia W700 is a bit better than Asus VivoTab Smart, getting a overall score of 59.6 against 58.7. Although it's the best we are comparing here, the Acer Iconia W700 construction is extremely thicker and a lot heavier than Asus VivoTab Smart. These devices work with Windows OS (Operating System), but Acer Iconia W700 has a more recent 8 Pro version and Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 version, so it gives you some extra features and a performance increase.

The Acer Iconia W700 counts with a little sharper screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, because it has a higher 1080 x 1920px resolution, a little bit better pixels number per inch of display and a quite bigger screen. Acer Iconia W700 features a bit better performance than Asus VivoTab Smart, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Acer Iconia W700 also has a faster GPU working at 650 megahertz and a greater amount of RAM.

The Acer Iconia W700 features a superior storage capacity to store more apps and games than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory. Asus VivoTab Smart counts with a battery lifetime that is very similar to the battery duration in Acer Iconia W700.

The Asus VivoTab Smart captures a lot better pictures and videos than Acer Iconia W700, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Asus VivoTab Smart also has a way better 8 megapixels resolution camera.

Although Acer Iconia W700 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Asus VivoTab Smart, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus VivoTab Smart. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Acer Iconia W700, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Asus VivoTab Smart, giving up some specifications.
