Acer Iconia W700's body is noticeably newer than the Galaxy Tab's, although it is notably heavier and a little bit thicker.

The Acer Iconia W700 counts with a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a way higher 1080 x 1920 resolution, a lot larger screen and a just a bit greater display pixels density.
Acer Iconia W700 has a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.
