Comparison review

The Xperia Tablet Z has an overall score of 68.5, which is better than the Acer Iconia W700's 57.8 score. The Xperia Tablet Z body is extremely thinner and incredibly lighter than the Acer Iconia W700, although both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. The Xperia Tablet Z comes with Android 4.4.4 OS, while Acer Iconia W700 has Windows 8 Pro OS.

The Acer Iconia W700 counts with just a little better processing power than Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with a much better graphics processing unit and 2 GB more RAM memory. Xperia Tablet Z counts with a brighter display than Acer Iconia W700, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a bit greater display pixel density.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z captures a lot better pictures and videos than Acer Iconia W700, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a back camera with lot more megapixels. The Acer Iconia W700 has a little bit better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Tablet Z, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory.
