Acer Iconia W700 Review

Acer Iconia W700 is an interesting portable tablet released in October 2012, counting with a 5 mega-pixels back-facing camera, a really big 11.6-inches multi touch capacitive screen and an extremely powerful 1.8 GHz Dual-Core processor.

Acer forgot about weight optimization in this 36.8 ounces device, way heavier than other similar portable tablets. Although the Acer Iconia W700 is only 11.6" long, it manages to contain a 11.6 inches display.

The Acer Iconia W700 is equipped with a very powerful 1800 MHz Dual-Core CPU, bundled in a Intel HM77 Express chip and a great 4 GB RAM memory. Graphic rendering often consume lots of processor cycles, so it has an extra 650 MHz Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphic processing unit to help the CPU with those tasks. A good point of the Acer Iconia W700 is its astonishing 64 GB internal memory and whereas it doesn't have an external SD slot, it it is more than enough to store hundreds of apps and even the largest games available nowadays without having to worry about how much memory is left.

This tablet only has a 5 MP back side camera. It can also shoot Full HD 1920x1080 videos. This tablet also features auto-focus.

Acer packed the Acer Iconia W700 with a nice 11.6" display, and a 1080 x 1920 (Full HD) resolution, which makes everything look quite vivid. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.

This tablet offers wifi connectivity (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a hotspot). This device doesn't use a sim card, because it isn't a GSM tablet.

The Acer Iconia W700 also comes with Bluetooth, and some sensors likeAccelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
