Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Review

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a complete device released many years ago, counting with a 5 mega-pixels back side camera, an enormous 10.1" multi touch screen and an extremely powerful Quad-Core processor ticking at 1.4 gigahertz.

Samsung appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 21.06 oz tablet. Being just 0.35" thick,the Note 10.1 is thin and practical. This tablet is only 10.31 inches long, but it's still able to fit a a 10.1" display.

Samsung equipped this tablet with a good level 10.1" display, and a resolution of 800 x 1280 , which makes everything look quite colorful and brightful. Its display uses Super PLS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This tablet ships with a Samsung Exynos 4 (4412) chip, holding an exceptional Quad-Core processing unit speeding at 1.4 gigahertz with a great 2 GB RAM memory. A good advantage of the Note 10.1 is its big 16 GB internal storage and an SD memory slot, allowing the user to store hundreds of games and apps without any trouble.

This tablet features Wi-Fi connection (although it can't be provided to other devices acting as a hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) connectivity, that is not as fast as LTE or LTE-A 4G networks and fast 3G internet connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This device works with a SIM card to connect to GSM networks.

The Note 10.1 is only equipped with a 5 MP back-facing camera. It also films videos up to 1280x720 (HD). The camera also includes a few useful features like flash, auto-focus and geo tagging.

The Note 10.1 uses an awesome 7000 mAh Li-Ion non-replaceable battery that provides this device a marvelous battery life. An issue to evaluate is that the Note 10.1's battery is not replaceable so you won't be able to replace it when it begins to have trouble holding its charge, while with so much capacity you will probably buy a new device before it happens.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 also features a few nice features such as Infrared Transmitter, Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The Note 10.1 is very overpriced considering it is offerred for $ 385, and many similar tablets are being sold for much less than that. If you will use this tablet majorly for internet broswing and social networks, are looking for a gamer tablet, need this tablet device for work or want this tablet device to take plenty of photos, you will definitely love this tablet.
