Google Nexus 7 (2013) Review

Google Nexus 7 (2013) is an amazing device launched some years ago, in 2013, counting with an exceptional 1500 MHz Quad-Core processing unit, a quite big 7-inches multi-touch display, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 1.2 MP front camera.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) feels a bit heavy comparing with today standards, with a weight of 10.23 oz. This tablet is just 0.34" thick, making its way into the thinnest portable tablets podium. Though this tablet just has 7.87" long, it manages to hold a 7" screen.

Google packed the Google Nexus 7 (2013) with a beautiful 7 inches screen, and a resolution of 1200 x 1920 , giving this tablet a great graphical experience. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, with a brightness of 300 candela/m2 and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

Google decided to build this portable tablet with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 system chip, holding an exceptional Quad-Core processing unit speeding at 1500 megahertz with a huge 2 GB of RAM memory. Helping with graphic rendering, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also uses a 400 megahertz Adreno 320 GPU. This tablet counts with a 16 GB quite big internal storage memory and though it doesn't include a slot for an SD memory card, it should be enough to install hundreds of apps and games, although it might not be suitable if you are fan of the heaviest games available nowadays or taking tons of photos and videos.

This tablet features WiFi connection (but it can't provide it to other devices around, acting as a modem), 4G (LTE) high speed connection type and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSPA and EDGE technologies. This tablet uses a Micro SIM card to use GSM services.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is equipped with two cameras, a 5 MP back-facing camera and a 1.2 MP front side camera. It is capable of capturing videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD). To complete the camera, it also includes auto-focus.

This tablet features an incredible 3950 mAh Li-Polymer replaceable battery that provides this tablet a great battery life.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) also features plenty of great features such as Wireless charging, NFC (Near Field Communication), Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is priced about 225 dollars, which is not a very good offer for this kind of tablet device. It doesn't matter whether you want this portable tablet to take plenty of photographs, are looking for a tablet for work, are looking for a tablet for playing games or want a device mostly for internet broswing and social networks, you will probably be very happy with it.
