Google Nexus 7 (2013) is an absolutely great Android tablet released back in the year 2013, which counts with a very powerful 1500 megahertz Quad-Core processor, a pretty big 7" multi touch display, a 5 megapixels back camera and a 1.2 MP front facing camera. But it's time to get into some more detail.
This device comes with an exceptional 1500 MHz Quad-Core processing unit, bundled in the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 system chip with a big 2 GB of RAM memory. Graphic rendering generally consume a lot of processing time, so it also counts with a 400 MHz Adreno 320 GPU to improve overall performance. An excellent aspect of the Google Nexus 7 (2013) is its big 32 GB internal storage and even though it doesn't have an SD extension slot, it is still enough to store hundreds of applications and even the heaviest games currently available without having to worry about filling the device.
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is quite a compact portable tablet, considering it features a 7" display and it only has 7.87 inches long and 4.49 inches wide. This device is very slim and stilized, with a thickness of just 0.34". Google didn't seem to put much effort to reduce weight in this 10.55 oz device.
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) includes an astonishing 7 inches display with a 1200 x 1920 resolution, which makes all images and videos look beautiful and brightful. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, with a 300 cd/m2 brightness and allows multi-touch gestures.
This device features two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 1.2 MP front-facing camera. It is capable of filming videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD). To complete the camera, it also counts with auto-focus.
This tablet comes with a 3950 mAh long lasting Li-Polymer battery that can keep this tablet running for many hours and even reach the end of the day without having to charge it.
This tablet has Wi-Fi connectivity (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless modem), 4G LTE fast internet connection and 3G fast connectivity, using HSPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet works with a Micro SIM card for GSM services.
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) also includes a wide range of interesting characteristics like Wireless charging system, Near Field Communication (NFC), Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth devices, computers, and accessories) and GPS Localization, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
This tablet may not be a good choice considering it is priced $ 225, and other similar portable tablets are quite cheaper than that. If you will use it as a social tablet device, are looking for a device for playing games, want it to take many photographs or need a tablet for work, this portable tablet is probably the correct option for you.
