LG G Pad 8.3 Review

LG G Pad 8.3 is a fascinating Android device launched in 2013, with a great Quad-Core processor running at 1.7 gigahertz, a pretty big 8.3 inches multi-touch screen, and two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back facing camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. We will get a better idea about this tablet's wonders when we get into more details.

LG ships this device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chip, which holds a very powerful 1.7 GHz Quad-Core processing unit with a great 2 GB of RAM memory. The LG G Pad 8.3 has a quite large 16 GB internal storage memory and an external SD slot, enough to store hundreds of applications and games without any problem.

Apparently LG didn't care about the weight in this 11.92 ounces portable tablet. This device is sold in two color options, black and white. This device is just 0.33 inches thick, taking it to the thinnest tablet's category. This tablet is just 8.54 inches long and 4.98 inches wide, but it is able to fit a a 8.3" screen.

This tablet is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back side camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. It is also able to shoot videos in 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 30 fps. This tablet also has a few interesting characteristics like auto-focus, geo tagging and HDR mode.

The LG G Pad 8.3 includes a good level 8.3 inches display with a 1200 x 1920 resolution, giving this portable tablet a good graphic quality. Its display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and can detect multi touch gestures.

This tablet includes wi-fi connectivity (which it can provide to other devices as a mobile hotspot) and LTE (4G) fast internet connection. This tablet doesn't have a SIM card, because it's not a GSM device.

This tablet packs a big capacity 4600 mAh Li-Polymer removable battery, enough to provide this tablet with a marvelous battery life.

This tablet also includes a few useful characteristics like Infrared Blaster, Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS (Global Positioning System), and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

LG offers the LG G Pad 8.3 for $ 235, which is not a really offer for comparing with similar tablet devices. It doesn't matter whether you are looking for a work portable tablet, love photography, will use it mainly for social networks and internet browsing or want a gaming tablet device, you will probably be very happy with it.
