Comparison review

The LG G Pad 8.3 has a score of 65.9, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2's global score of 65.4. Even being the best tablet we compare here, the LG G Pad 8.3 is a notably older, somewhat thicker and just a little heavier tablet than the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with a little more vivid display than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher 2048 x 1536 resolution and a just a bit more pixels per screen inch.

LG G Pad 8.3 counts with just a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a greater number of cores (although they are slower). LG G Pad 8.3 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, although it has a worse (Full HD) video resolution, a much smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low-light captures and video and a camera with a way lower 5 mega-pixels resolution.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 has a very superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 counts with superior battery duration than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a 35% more battery capacity.

Although LG G Pad 8.3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy LG G Pad 8.3, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, giving up a couple features and specifications.
