Comparison review

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is just a bit better than LG G Pad 8.3, having a global score of 69.5 against 65.9. Both of these tablets have the same Android 5.0 OS. Even though the Google Nexus 7 (2013) and LG G Pad 8.3 were released with only a couple months difference, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) design is somewhat lighter but just a bit thicker.

Google Nexus 7 (2013) counts with a slightly better screen than LG G Pad 8.3, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1200 x 1920, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also counts with a little bit better amount of pixels per inch of display. LG G Pad 8.3 features a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have equal 16 GB internal storage, the LG G Pad 8.3 also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 64 GB.

The Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a little faster processing unit than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM and 4 CPU cores, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has an extra GPU. The LG G Pad 8.3 counts with longer battery performance than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a 4600mAh battery capacity.

LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a superior camera than Google Nexus 7 (2013), although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light photography, they both have a 5 mega-pixels back camera, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Google Nexus 7 (2013) is also cheaper than the other tablet, which makes it a simple decision.
