The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, with a score of 69.5 against 63.2. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) design is newer, just a little thinner and much lighter than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Google Nexus 7 (2013) has the newer 5.0 version while Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has Android 4.4.

Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a lot better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a way better pixels density and a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. Google Nexus 7 (2013) features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor and 2 GB of RAM memory, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has an additional GPU.

Galaxy Note 10.1 has a superior storage to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have the same 16 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 32 GB. The Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a much better camera than Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have a 5 megapixels camera, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a much longer battery life than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a 77% greater battery capacity.
