Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a great device released back in 2012, coming with a big size 10.1-inches multi touch screen, an exceptional Quad-Core processor ticking at 1400 megahertz and a 5 mega-pixels back camera. But it's time to get into more detail.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 isn't very light for a tablet this size, weighting 21.16 ounces. Though this tablet is only 10.31" long, it is able to fit a a 10.1 inches display. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is slim and practical, with a thickness of just 0.35".
Samsung designed this tablet with an average 10.1" screen, and a 800 x 1280 resolution, which makes all photos and movies look quite nice. This screen uses Super PLS LCD capacitive technology, and has multi-touch detection.
Samsung decided to equip this tablet with a high speed 1400 megahertz Quad-Core processing unit, packed into the Samsung Exynos 4 (4412) system chip and a huge 2 GB RAM memory. A good advantage of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is its big 16 GB internal storage memory and an SD card slot, which allows you to store hundreds of games and applications without worrying about space.
This tablet has wifi capability (although it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) data connection, which is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and the fastest 3G connectivity, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet works with a SIM card for GSM networks.
The Note 10.1 is equipped with only a 5 MP back facing camera. It is capable of filming HD 1280x720 videos. The camera also has a couple of good characteristics like flash, auto-focus and geo tagging.
This tablet also features some interesting characteristics as Infrared Port, Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
This device packs an amazing 7000 mAh Li-Ion non-removable battery, enough to provide the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with an incredibly long battery life. An issue to take into account is that this tablet's battery is not removable so you won't be able to replace it when it starts to get older, though with such a huge battery size you will probably buy a new tablet device before it happens.
The Note 10.1 is not a very good choice considering it costs 585 dollars, and other similar tablets cost much less than that. If you want it to take tons of pictures, want a work tablet device, will use it as a social tablet device or want a gaming tablet device, you will probably love this tablet.
