Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a general score of 68.4, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Note 10.1's 63.3 score. Both tablets we are comparing here come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Note 10.1 has Android 4.4 version, giving you some extra features. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a newer portable tablet, and it is also extremely lighter and thinner than Galaxy Note 10.1.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with a higher display density. Galaxy Note 8.0 features much more memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with a greater hardware performance than Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM and a Quad-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an extra GPU. The Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4600mAh.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have a camera with a 5 mega pixels resolution, the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video quality.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is also very cheap compared to the other tablets, making it an obvious call.
