IPad mini 3 has a general score of 75.3, which is a lot better than the Acer Predator 8's 57.7 overall score. The iPad mini 3 construction is thinner and just a little lighter than Acer Predator 8, although it was released only 13 months before. IPad mini 3 works with iOS 8.x operating system, while Acer Predator 8 comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
The iPad mini 3 has a bit better hardware performance than Acer Predator 8, because although it has less RAM and lesser and slower CPU cores, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit and an extra graphics processor. IPad mini 3 features a more vivid screen than Acer Predator 8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 and a little higher pixel density.
The Apple iPad mini 3 captures greater pictures and videos than Acer Predator 8. Both have a same resolution back-facing camera.
