Comparison review
The Asus VivoTab Smart has a general score of 58.7, which is just a bit better than Acer Predator 8's overall score of 57.7. Although it's the best portable tablet in this review, the Asus VivoTab Smart design is extremely heavier and somewhat thicker than the Acer Predator 8. Asus VivoTab Smart works with Windows 8 operating system, and Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
The Asus VivoTab Smart features just a little better processing power than Acer Predator 8, because although it has an inferior number of cores , and they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Asus VivoTab Smart also counts with a GPU. The Acer Predator 8 features just a bit better display than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has a way smaller screen, it also counts with way more pixels per inch of screen and a much higher 1200 x 1920px resolution.
Acer Predator 8 counts with a little bit better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Asus VivoTab Smart, although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity. Acer Predator 8 has a superior battery life than Asus VivoTab Smart. The Asus VivoTab Smart captures a lot better videos and photos than Acer Predator 8, because it has a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
Asus VivoTab Smart costs a little more money than the Acer Predator 8, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
