Google Nexus 7 has a score of 59.3, which is a little bit better than the Acer Predator 8's overall score of 57.7. Google Nexus 7 is a older and thicker tablet than Acer Predator 8, but Google managed to build it just a little lighter anyway. Both of these devices have Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 7 has older 5.1 version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.

The Google Nexus 7's processor is just as good as the processor in Acer Predator 8, because although the Google Nexus 7 has less RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, it also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Google Nexus 7 counts with a slightly better display than Acer Predator 8, although it has a just a bit less pixels per screen inch, a bit smaller screen and a way lower 800 x 1280 resolution.

The Acer Predator 8 features a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Nexus 7, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage, the Acer Predator 8 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The Acer Predator 8 counts with a little better battery duration than Google Nexus 7, because it has a 4420mAh battery capacity instead of 4325mAh.

Acer Predator 8 shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Google Nexus 7.

The Google Nexus 7 not only is the best devices between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
