Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a little bit better than the Acer Predator 8, having a overall score of 61.4 against 57.7. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has an older 4.1 version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. Despite being the best tablet device in this comparison, we must highlight that it's also a lot older, thicker and notably heavier.

The Acer Predator 8 features a better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores (and they are faster). The Acer Predator 8 features a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher pixel number per inch in the display and a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution.

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a bit better camera than Acer Predator 8, although it has a back-facing camera with much less mega pixels. Acer Predator 8 has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a superior battery lifetime than Acer Predator 8, because it has a 58% bigger battery size.

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) costs a lot more money than Acer Predator 8, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
