Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 7.7 is much better than Acer Predator 8, getting a general score of 64.8 against 57.7. Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is incredibly older than the Acer Predator 8, it's body is just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter. Both tablets in this comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 7.7 has the previous 4.0.4 version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a little bit better display than Acer Predator 8, although it has a way worse 800 x 1280 resolution, a little bit smaller display and a much lower screen pixels density. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Acer Predator 8, because although it has an external SD slot that supports up to 32 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.

The Acer Predator 8 features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and a higher amount of RAM. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a little longer battery life than Acer Predator 8, because it has a 5100mAh battery size.

Acer Predator 8 captures clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a much better resolution back camera.

Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Predator 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Predator 8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 7.7, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Acer Predator 8, letting go a couple features and specifications.
