Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a global score of 61.4, which is just a bit better than the Alcatel 3T 8's 58.6 global score. Despite being the best in this review, the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) design is a lot older, somewhat thicker and a lot heavier than Alcatel 3T 8. These devices come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the previous 4.1 version while Alcatel 3T 8 has Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Alcatel 3T 8 has just a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has more cpu cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) and Alcatel 3T 8 have extremely similar screens, because although the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a just a little worse pixel density, and they both have the same 800 x 1280px resolution, it also counts with a larger display.
Alcatel 3T 8 takes a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the Alcatel 3T 8 also has a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels. Alcatel 3T 8 has a very superior storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB and 16 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a way better battery duration than Alcatel 3T 8, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4080mAh.
