The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a general score of 61.4, which is a little bit better than the Alcatel A30 Tablet's 57 overall score. Both of these tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has an older 4.1 version while Alcatel A30 Tablet has Android 7.1 Nougat version. Despite being the best in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) body is noticeably older, notably heavier and just a little thicker than Alcatel A30 Tablet.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a slightly better screen than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because although it has a little bit inferior pixels number in each inch of screen, it also counts with a bigger screen and a quite better 800 x 1280 resolution. The Alcatel A30 Tablet counts with a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has 8 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 128 GB.
Alcatel A30 Tablet has just a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has 1 GB more RAM memory and more processing cores. Alcatel A30 Tablet captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Alcatel A30 Tablet also has a much more mega pixels back facing camera.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a superior battery life than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Alcatel A30 Tablet, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Alcatel A30 Tablet. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Alcatel A30 Tablet, giving up some features and specs.
