Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a general score of 61.7, which is slightly better than the Alcatel A30 Tablet's 57 overall score. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has the previous 4.1 version and Alcatel A30 Tablet has Android 7.1 Nougat. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is a notably older and thicker tablet than Alcatel A30 Tablet, but Samsung could make it just a bit lighter anyway.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a bit more vivid display than Alcatel A30 Tablet, although it has a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024, a little inferior count of pixels per inch in the screen and a quite smaller screen. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a little better hardware performance than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory and lesser processing cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processor.

Alcatel A30 Tablet features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 8 GB more internal memory and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features a battery duration that's very similar to the battery lifetime in Alcatel A30 Tablet.

Alcatel A30 Tablet takes a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (HD) video quality, the Alcatel A30 Tablet also has a back facing camera with a much higher resolution.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE costs a bit more than Alcatel A30 Tablet, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
