Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a score of 66.2, which is much better than Alcatel A30 Tablet's 57 overall score. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is an extremely older tablet than Alcatel A30 Tablet, but Samsung was able to build it thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. These tablets include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has 4.4.2 version and Alcatel A30 Tablet has Android 7.1 Nougat version.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a sharper screen than Alcatel A30 Tablet, and although they both have a same size screen, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also has a slightly higher 1280 x 800 resolution and a little greater pixels count in each inch in the screen. Alcatel A30 Tablet features a slightly bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Alcatel A30 Tablet also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a bit better processing unit than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 4 processing cores, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a bit superior battery performance than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because it has 4450mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Alcatel A30 Tablet features a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition, the Alcatel A30 Tablet also has a much higher 5 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.

Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also a bit cheaper, which makes this tablet a simple decision.
