Comparison review
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has an overall score of 57.6, which is just a bit better than the Alcatel A30 Tablet's 57 score. Although the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD and Alcatel A30 Tablet were released with only a couple months difference, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD is somewhat thinner and a little bit lighter. These tablets have Android operating system, but the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has the previous 6.0 Marshmallow version and Alcatel A30 Tablet has Android 7.1 Nougat.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a much better screen than Alcatel A30 Tablet, and although they both have a same size display, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a way better display pixels density. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD and Alcatel A30 Tablet feature quite similar storage capacity to store more apps and games, both of them have equal internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that admits up to 128 GB.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a bit superior processor than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because it has a greater number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with better battery lifetime than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD captures much better photos and videos than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because it has a lot better video quality and a camera with a lot better 8 mega-pixels resolution.
