The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is much better than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, with a 75.8 score against 62.5. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) body is just a little bit thinner than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, although it is a lot heavier and was released many years before. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has the newer 4.4.2 version and Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10, offering some additional features.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a bit better CPU than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor and the same RAM amount, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has an additional graphics processor. The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a much sharper screen than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a bigger screen, a lot higher screen pixels density and a much better 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), although it has a lower (Full HD) video quality and a way worse 5 mega pixels resolution back camera. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a greater memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) counts with a superior battery duration than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has 8220mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a better device, it is way more expensive than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Alcatel JOY TAB 2. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, letting go a couple specs and features.
