The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a global score of 62.5, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s 61.4 score. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has the newer 10 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1, providing some nice extra features and better performance. Alcatel JOY TAB 2's design is extremely newer, thinner and noticeably lighter than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1).

The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have an equal 800 x 1280 resolution, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also counts with a greater pixels number per inch of display.
