The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, getting a 62.5 score against 61.7. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is a way newer tablet, and it's also thinner and lighter than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. Both tablets we compare here work with Android operating system, but the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a newer 10 version and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1.
Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features just a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and 2 more cpu cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE features just a bit better looking display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, although it has a little less pixels per screen inch, a little smaller screen and a way lower resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 24 GB more internal storage and a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a little longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a 4080mAh battery size against 4000mAh.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a back facing camera with lot more MP and a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
Despite of being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is also the cheapest.
