Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a global score of 64.8, which is slightly better than Alcatel JOY TAB 2's score of 62.5. Galaxy Tab 7.7's construction is just a little thinner than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but it is just a little bit heavier and was released 9 years before. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab 7.7 has newer 4.0.4 version and Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10, so it gives you some additional features.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a sharper display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a greater number of cores and 2 GB more RAM memory.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 has slightly more storage for applications and games than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB against 256 GB, it also counts with more internal memory. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 captures much better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a way better 5 mega-pixels resolution back camera and a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 features improved battery performance than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a 5100mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Alcatel JOY TAB 2. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, giving up some features and specifications.
