Comparison review

Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, with a 62.5 score against 58.8. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a newer 10 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0, so it offers a couple nice extra features and increased performance. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 design has the same thickness than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, but it's a lot lighter.

Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a greater hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 2 more cpu cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a little more vivid display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has a just a little lower pixel density, and they both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also counts with a quite bigger display.

The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a way better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a much higher (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with a way better 5 mega pixels resolution. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 32 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot that allows up to 256 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a very superior battery duration than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a 6100mAh battery capacity instead of 4080mAh.
