The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a general score of 68.3, which is slightly better than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2's global score of 62.5. Both tablets in this comparison review have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has 8.1 Oreo version and Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10 version. Although it's the best in this comparison review, Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a incredibly older, heavier and just a little thicker tablet than Alcatel JOY TAB 2.

Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have 4 cores, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). They have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280px, a display of the same size and a better quantity of pixels per inch in the display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with just a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has an external SD slot that admits up to 400 GB.
