Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a lot better than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, getting a 75.2 score against 62.5. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a noticeably older and a little heavier portable tablet than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but Samsung managed to make it thinner anyway. Both tablets we compare here come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has newer 4.4.2 version and Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10, giving some additional features.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a lot better display than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a much higher display pixel density and a quite bigger display. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a little better performance than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with an additional GPU.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 takes clearer photos and videos than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a camera with a much higher 8 mega pixels resolution and better video frame rates. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has an external memory slot that holds up to 256 GB.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with greater battery performance than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a lot more expensive than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
