Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a wonderful Android tablet released in January 2014, counting with a very fast 2.3 gigahertz Quad-Core CPU, a big 8.4" multi touch display, an 8 MP back side camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 only has 8.62" long, but it manages to hold a 8.4" screen. This tablet is extremely slim and practical, being just 0.28" thick. Samsung did a very nice design job making the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 weight just 11.82 oz.
Samsung decided to power the Tab Pro 8.4 using a great Quad-Core CPU running at 2.3 GHz, packed into a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 system chip and a large 2 GB of RAM memory. Handling graphic rendering, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has an Adreno 330 graphics processing unit ticking at 450 MHz. A good advantage of this tablet is the 32 GB big internal storage and a slot for an external memory card, allowing you to store lots of apps, games, songs, pictures and videos without thinking about running out of space.
This device is equipped with two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 2 MP front camera. It is also able to shoot videos up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) at 60 frames per second. Additionally, the camera includes many interesting features: flash, auto-focus, face detection shooting, smile detection shooting, geo tagging and HDR mode.
Samsung equipped this tablet with a completely amazing 8.4" display, and a resolution of 2560 x 1600 , making everything look absolutely great. This display uses Super Clear LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.
This tablet comes with a 4800 mAh large non-replaceable battery that can keep this tablet running for several hours and even reach the end of the day without charging it. An issue to take into consideration is that this tablet's battery is not removable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins losing capacity, although with such a big battery you will probably replace this tablet before that happens.
This tablet counts with Wi-Fi connectivity (and it can provide it to other devices around, as a mobile hotspot), LTE 4G fast connection and also HSPA+ internet connection, that is a bit slower 4G network and 3G fast internet connection, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This tablet works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.
This tablet also features a few interesting characteristics such as Infrared Transmitter, Bluetooth and GPS Navigation, and lots of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.
This tablet might not be a very good choice considering it is priced $ 289, and some similar portable tablets are offerred cheaper than that. The Tab Pro 8.4 is probably a great option for you it doesn't matter whether you will use this tablet mainly for internet broswing and social networks, want a work tablet, you love taking photos or want this device for playing games.
