Apple iPad Air Review

Apple iPad Air is an absolutely amazing tablet device launched many years ago, provisioned with a really big 9.7 inches multi touch screen, an extremely powerful 1.4 GHz Dual-Core 64-bit processing unit, and two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back side camera and a 1.2 MP front side camera.

Apple made the Apple iPad Air in three different colors, black, gray and white. About its body design materials, this device is mostly created with Aluminium, giving it a quality finish and an extra resistance. This tablet feels much lighter than what one would think about a device like this. The Apple iPad Air is incredibly slim, with a thickness of just 0.3 inches. Although this device is only 9.45" long, it is still able to fit a a 9.7" screen.

Apple decided to power this tablet with a Apple A7 chip, backed up by an extremely powerful 1400 megahertz Dual-Core 64 bits processor and only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little bit poor considering this tablet's awesome processing power. Graphic calculations generally eats a lot of processor time, so the Apple iPad Air counts with a 600 MHz PowerVR G6430 GPU to unload the CPU. This tablet has a huge 128 GB internal storage memory and even though it doesn't come with an SD memory card expansion slot, it is still enough to install lots of apps, games, songs, pictures and videos without thinking about running out of space.

The Apple iPad Air is equipped with two cameras, a 5 mega-pixels back camera and a 1.2 megapixels front-facing camera. It is capable of capturing videos in Full HD 1920x1080 at 30 fps. This camera also includes lots of useful features like digital image stabilization, auto-focus, HDR mode, face detection shooting, time lapse video and geo tagging.

This tablet is equipped with a very good 9.7" screen with a 1536 x 2048 resolution, which makes everything look great. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.

This tablet features WiFi connection (and it can be shared with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot), 4G (LTE) high speed connectivity and 3G fast data connection, over HSPA, UMTS, EV-DO A, EV-DO B and EDGE technologies. This device works with a Nano SIM card for GSM connection and it can use both CDMA and GSM carriers.

This tablet also features a handful of useful characteristics like Bluetooth (4.0) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Compass.

The iPad Air packs a 8820 mAh big Li-Polymer non-replaceable battery, enough to provide this tablet with an incredible battery life. An issue to take into consideration is that this device's battery is not removable so you can't buy a new battery when it begins to last shorter, although with such a great capacity you will probably discard this tablet before that happens.

Apple is selling this device for 273 dollars, which is a quite high price for comparing with similar devices.
