Comparison review
Apple iPad Air has a score of 77.9, which is a little bit better than Apple iPad Air 2's overall score of 77.1. These tablets come with the same iOS 8.x OS (Operating System). Although it's the best in our current comparison, the Apple iPad Air design is older, just a little bit heavier and notably thicker than the Apple iPad Air 2.
Apple iPad Air 2 features a screen that's very similar to the screen in Apple iPad Air, both of them have the same amount of pixels per inch in the screen, a screen with the same size and exactly the same 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution. The iPad Air has a little faster CPU than iPad Air 2, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, and they both have a 64-bits processing unit, the iPad Air also counts with 1 more CPU cores and an additional graphics processing unit.
IPad Air features a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than iPad Air 2, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. Apple iPad Air 2 counts with a little bit better camera than Apple iPad Air, and although they both have the same video quality, the same video frame rates and a F2.4 aperture, the Apple iPad Air 2 also has a camera with a much better 8 MP resolution.
Apple iPad Air features better battery lifetime than iPad Air 2, because it has an 8820mAh battery capacity instead of 7340mAh.
