Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, having a 75.2 score against 75.2. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a much older and somewhat thicker tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, but Samsung could make it much lighter anyway. Both devices in our current comparison have Android OS, but Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has older 4.4.2 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a much better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 2560 x 1600px and a better pixels number in each inch in the display. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a greater storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with an extra graphics processor. Galaxy Tab S3 has longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 25% more battery size.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 captures much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a lot more megapixels camera in the back.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a better device, it is more expensive than Galaxy Tab S3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab S3. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab S3, letting go some specs and features.
