The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has an overall score of 75.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's global score of 74.2. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's design is just a little bit thinner and extremely lighter than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, although they were only released 0 months apart. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has Android 4.4 version, so it gives a couple additional features.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal 2560 x 1600 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with a little bit better pixel quantity per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's memory to store more apps and games is very similar to Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's one, both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, although it has a worse 450 megahertz graphics co-processor and a lower number of cores , they both have the same RAM memory amount. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 71% bigger battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 captures much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. Both of them have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the same video frame rates and a back-facing camera with an 8 mega pixels.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a bit more expensive than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
