Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, having a score of 75.2 against 74.5. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 design is somewhat heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Galaxy Tab S 8.4. These tablets come with the same Android 4.4.2 OS. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and lesser processing cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an extra graphics processor.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. Both have the same exact resolution of 2560 x 1600, a same size screen and a greater number of pixels per inch in the screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 counts with a slightly better memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a SD card slot that holds up to 128 GB.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has just a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 2% bigger battery capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 takes clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same resolution back facing camera, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has better video frame rate.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, otherwise you can save some money and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, resigning a couple features and specs.
