The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a score of 75.8, which is way better than Alcatel JOY TAB's general score of 59.4. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a lot older and heavier than Alcatel JOY TAB, it's construction is still a little thinner. These tablets come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has 4.4.2 version while Alcatel JOY TAB has Android 9.0 Pie.

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a superior processor than Alcatel JOY TAB, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has an extra graphics co-processor and a greater amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a much more vibrant display than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has a lot higher pixel density, a bigger display and a much better 1600 x 2560 resolution.

The Alcatel JOY TAB captures clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), although it has a back camera with way less mega-pixels resolution and a way worse (HD) video resolution. The Alcatel JOY TAB features just a bit bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), and although they both have equal internal storage, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a much better battery lifetime than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has a 101% larger battery size.
