Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a score of 61.4, which is slightly better than the Alcatel JOY TAB's score of 59.4. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has older 4.1 version while Alcatel JOY TAB has Android 9.0 Pie version. Although it's the best tablet device in this review, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s body is older, a lot heavier and thicker than Alcatel JOY TAB.
The Alcatel JOY TAB and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) count with very similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a little worse pixels density, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger screen. Alcatel JOY TAB features a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has 2 more CPU cores and 1 GB more RAM.
The Alcatel JOY TAB counts with much more storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has 32 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 128 GB. The Alcatel JOY TAB features a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same (HD) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has a back facing camera with a way higher 5 megapixels resolution.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a way better battery duration than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has a 72 percent more battery capacity.
