The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE is slightly better than Alcatel JOY TAB, getting a 61.7 score against 59.4. Although it's the best portable tablet in this comparison, it must be noted that it is also a older, thicker and somewhat heavier portable tablet. Both devices we compare here use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has the previous 4.1 version and Alcatel JOY TAB has Android 9.0 Pie.

The Alcatel JOY TAB counts with much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB and 24 GB more internal memory.
Alcatel JOY TAB features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores and 1 GB more RAM memory. The Alcatel JOY TAB features a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has a much better resolution back facing camera.
The Alcatel JOY TAB counts with a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 4080mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
