The Alcatel JOY TAB has a score of 59.4, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's 58.8 global score. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Alcatel JOY TAB has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version, so it gives you lots of additional features. Alcatel JOY TAB's body has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, but it is much lighter.

The Alcatel JOY TAB has a bit better performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has more CPU cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a brighter screen than Alcatel JOY TAB, because although it has a just a bit worse amount of pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also counts with a little larger screen.

Alcatel JOY TAB counts with a way better camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has a way better 5 megapixels resolution camera in the back. Alcatel JOY TAB counts with much more storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 32 GB internal memory and a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 128 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a way better battery performance than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has a 6100mAh battery size instead of 4080mAh.
