Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is better than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, having a general score of 68.5 against 62.3. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has the older 4.2.2 version while Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has Android 4.4 version. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier tablet than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8.
