Comparison review
Google Nexus 9 has a global score of 74.5, which is much better than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8's 62.3 global score. Google Nexus 9 is a noticeably heavier and a little bit thicker tablet than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 9 has newer 5.0 version while Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has Android 4.4 version, providing the user a lot of extra features.
Google Nexus 9 features a slightly better looking screen than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has a slightly higher 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution, a quite better amount of pixels in each inch of display and a quite bigger display. The Google Nexus 9 features a much bigger memory for applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a bit superior CPU than Google Nexus 9, because although it has a 32-bits processor against 64-bits, and they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also counts with an additional GPU and a greater number of cores (although slower). The Google Nexus 9 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has a 6700mAh battery capacity.
The Google Nexus 9 captures greater pictures and videos than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has a much more MP camera.
Google Nexus 9 and the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 cost exactly the same, which makes this tablet a simple decision.
