Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a global score of 66.3, which is slightly better than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8's 62.3 overall score. These devices come with the same Android 4.4 operating system. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 design is way heavier and somewhat thicker than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a much sharper display than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1920 x 1200px and way more pixels per inch of display.
Galaxy Note 10.1 features a superior memory capacity for applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has more internal memory. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also has an additional graphics processing unit and a larger number of faster cores.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have a same resolution back camera. Galaxy Note 10.1 has a really longer battery duration than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has a 7000mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, letting go some features and specifications.
