Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has an overall score of 63, which is just a bit better than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8's 62.3 score. Both tablets we are comparing use Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has 4.4.2 version while Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has Android 4.4, so it provides the user a couple additional features and optimized performance. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's design is heavier and thicker than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8.

Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a better performing CPU than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also has a greater number of cores (and faster) and a graphics processing unit. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has an incredibly better display than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a way better screen density and a way better resolution of 1920 x 1200.

The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. Both have equal internal storage capacity. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE both feature extremely similar cameras, both have a back-facing camera with a 5 megapixels resolution.

Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. If you want to save some money, you can get Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
