Comparison review
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, having a general score of 62.3 against 58.1. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is a somewhat thinner and much lighter tablet than Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a way better pixel number per screen inch. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a lot better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a graphics co-processor and a greater number of cores.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a slightly better camera than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, although it has a much worse resolution back facing camera. Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage.
