Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is just a bit better than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, with a 67 score against 62.3. These tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has Android 4.4 version, so it provides the user some additional features. Even being the best in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is a a bit thicker and a lot heavier device than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8.
The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a brighter display than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with way more pixels per inch in the screen and a much better 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a better performing CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a larger amount of RAM, a better graphics processor running at 700 megahertz and a larger number of cores.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a little bit better camera than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, although it has a much worse resolution back-facing camera. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. Both of them have equal 16 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 counts with a way better battery lifetime than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has a 67 percent bigger battery size.
