Comparison review
The Galaxy View 2 has a global score of 65.3, which is slightly better than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8's global score of 62.3. Even being the best in this comparison review, the Galaxy View 2 is a incredibly heavier and noticeably thicker tablet device than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. Both of these tablets have Android OS, but Galaxy View 2 has the newer 8.1 Oreo version while Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has Android 4.4.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a lot better screen than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater screen pixel density and a little bit higher resolution of 1920 x 1200px. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy View 2, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also counts with an extra GPU.
The Galaxy View 2 has a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has 48 GB more internal memory. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 shoots much better videos and photos than Galaxy View 2. Samsung Galaxy View 2 counts with a really longer battery life than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has 12000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
